Through the Eyes

Overview: The first ever fashion technology wearable art show debuting one-of-a-kind “Hip Tunes” accessories designed by music, film and fashion icons to benefit charity.

Story: Shanna co-designed Genre Collection’s Hip Tunes wearable art accessories meant to hold an iPod and be hands-free and stylish while enjoying the technology. Designers included Steven Tyler of Aerosmith, Steve Jones of the Sex Pistols, Queen Latifah, Duran Duran, Alice Cooper, video director Dave Meyers and 
“Clothier to The King” Bernard Lansky as a tribute to Elvis. Live performance by legendary rap artists Doug E. Fresh and DMC of RUN DMC. MAC Cosmetics sponsored the body art. 

Impact: This event was on the forefront of showcasing how the fusion of technology, pop-culture and fashion combined to make an incredible impact in the world. Each piece created was bespoke using past memorabilia from the artists personal collections (hence the name Through The Eyes Of) and proceeds from the auction went to their personal charity of choice.
