Tape Collection

I wanted to capture the shadows of one’s face using various tapes ranging from duct to iridescent. I made large scale designs with these people:

• George Michael’s face where his expression changes when you move with the light. 
• I captured Muhammad Ali’s famous stare focusing on just his eyes using little pieces of duct tape. This showed how powerful his look was before he even touched a person with his boxing gloves.
• I was asked to make a tribute piece after Chester Bennington died and presented a duct tape art piece of Chester’s face to his wife Talinda at his memorial.
